Wuppertal/ Germany is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia in western Germany. Found in and around the Wupper valley (German: „Tal“), Wuppertal is understood for its „Schwebebahn“. This unusual train building is a suspension monorail dating from 1901. At the time of taping the Schwebebahn just ran as soon as a week on public vacations, the tracks are still noticeable all around the city.
We start our strolling scenic tour of Wuppertal at the train terminal which is situated at the southern city. We stroll using the new train station square northwards, going across the Wupper river in the direction of the town hall with several shops. After a few minutes we are currently at the Karlsplatz with the city center (Rathaus).
From there we see some backstreet, the Rathaus Galerie shopping center and also far more of the town hall.
We reach the northern part of the facility passing the „Haus der Jugend Elberfeld“ around half method through our walk with lots of graffiti around there, head back to the central city on our way eastern.
Our scenic tour proceeds in the direction of the area of Ostersbaum, where the arboretum lies. On that nice day we reach first the St. Marien church. Quickly we proceed uphill to the Hardt-Anlagen to get to the Botanical Gardens where we end our Wuppertal strolling trip.
